Bacon Hack: Just Add a Little Water
Don't have mom telling you, “I told you so!” for the millionth time. Here’s a bacon hack that even mothers approve. No splatter with perfect texture. Crispy and tender instead of dry and crumbly.
1. Over high heat, place the bacon in just enough water to cover it in a skillet.
2. When the water reaches a boil, lower the heat to medium.
3. Once the water has simmered away, turn down the heat to medium-low and continue cooking until the bacon is crisp and well-browned.
This allows the bacon to plump up instead of shriveling as it cooks. Leaving the bacon pleasantly crisp!
